What is Tui Na Massage?
Tui Na massage is a form of remedial massage and bodywork treatment that has been used in China for more than 2000 years.
It works by combining a broad range of pressure techniques and stretches. The therapist applies gentle to heavy force using the palms, fingers, and elbows to the client's body. Added to this are various stretches and pressure techniques.
For better effect, some techniques require strong and deep pressures, and the soreness, heaviness, numbness sensations are relative to the one’s tolerance and the type of the illnesses. Thus, the hand techniques sometimes can be painful by working on acupressure and Ashi points (tender spot from referral pain from root cause or where there is a blockage of Qi flow).
Here at Intertreat Health, our team is fully trained and experienced in providing a range of remedial deep tissue massage, including Tui Na bodywork treatments. Make an appointment with us to restore your natural balance today

How does Tui Na help?
